Angola

In Part Five we will find out more about this country in the west coast of South Africa. It is the seventh largest country in Africa.

1. It was the last country to gain independence from Portuguese colonial rule in 1975, and the official language is Portuguese and had a serious period of civil war that left millions dead.

2. Angola has the second largest waterfall in Africa, including the Kalandula.

3. About 70% of the population is under the age of 24 and there are also a small number of men due to the country\’s civil war.

4. Under these circumstances, Angola is one of the most developed countries in Africa in terms of diamond and oil resources. 

5. The people of Angola strongly believe in the tree called \”imbondeiro\” which they believe was planted by God and can be found it with different locations in the country.

6. The capital of the country is Luanda and also known as \”Paris of Africa\” ​​with a population of about 2.7 million people.

7. Angola is one of the fastest growing economies in the world with its growing natural resources.

8. The leader of the country is President João Lourenço.
