From the bottle collector to the richest man in the world Fred DeLuca was born in 1948 his parents are of Italian origin, but they moved to America their living conditions were very difficult so much so that 10-year-old Fred DeLuca he collected flasks, cleaned them and sold them.
Tired and hard work, but his persistence and trying to help his family made him search for any opportunity to increase his income and with the passage of years, the little one was born.
He got a job as a newspaper distributor in the city his new job is helping for his family and saving some money for the job of a his lifetime dream to be a doctor in the future.
He graduated from high school and start studying at a university in the specialty of the one who dreams is medicine. After a short while Fred DeLuca couldn\’t pay university tuition.
Fred DeLuca is visited by a physicist close to the family of Fred DeLuca. He suggested that he open a restaurant. Young and experienced in the food industry Mr. Peter Buck lent him a thousand dollars.
His restaurant was called Submarines on the first day of the restaurant, he sold 312 sandwiches, he achieved successive successes in the coming years and the name of the restaurant was changed to Subway and currently open several branches around the world.
Fred DeLuca is an example of a self-made man.
