It is the longest river in the world on the African continent and it flows through 9 countries in Africa including Egypt, Tanzania, Sudan, Congo.

While there are still studies arguing that the Amazon River is longer than the Nile River. The Nile River is 4,132 Miles long and the Amazon River is 3,977 Miles long.

Going back to the history of the Nile, Egypt relied on the river and heavily on irrigation and livelihoods.

The Nile River is rich in nutritious soils that can be used to grow a variety of crops for agriculture.

There are also two rivers in addition to the general one called the Blue Nile which flows during the Summer. The other, known as the White Nile, originates in the Victoria River, which flows steadily through the year.

The river has boosted the economies of the countries through which it flows while most of Egypt is dependent on the Nile for its livelihood and most of Egypt\’s cotton is produced from farms near the Nile.

With the Nile River immediately pouring into your mind, Egypt is famous for its ancient pyramids, which in turn were used to describe the Nile\’s long history with Egypt.

  1. One thing I’d like to say is before purchasing more computer system memory, look at the machine within which it could well be installed. If the machine will be running Windows XP, for instance, the actual memory threshold is 3.25GB. Putting in above this would simply constitute a waste. Make sure that one’s mother board can handle your upgrade volume, as well. Great blog post.
